Recommendation for a London jewel for a coloured stone ring?
Got an appointment tomorrow with flawless fine jewellery for a bespoke engagement ring for my partner and I'm looking for suggestions on some alternate places to try as well as I'm a bit nervous about overpaying at a Hatton Garden shop and it would be good to get 1 or 2 of different quotes.
My partner would like a natural, coloured gemstone (probably sapphire but could also go with spinel or garnet), and I went with the above shop because they have by far the widest collection of loose gemstones I've found online in the colours we like. I've looked through a bunch of other places but no where else seems to have much variety on their websites, many of the Hatton garden places don't advertise coloured stones at all only diamonds.
So looking for some advice here, is it the case that most places can just order in a stone in our preferred colour/budget, or are there some specific places that would be good for me to go to?
