How many calories does a 5'2 114 lbs 16 year old girl need daily?
I am 16 years old, 5'2, around 114 lbs, and (I would say) moderately active. I'm struggling to figure out how many calories I should be eating for maintenance. I've heard that my age is a large factor in caloric needs, but most sources I've seen aren't clear enough for me to understand how that plays into my expenditure overall.
I recently got out of a period where I would heavily restrict and eat very little (like 900-1200 kcal per day) and that obviously was not ideal at all. Right now, I'm averaging 1700-1900 kcal per day, because that's what I calculated myself to need. However, I'm noticing that I still feel hungry and not satiated. My diet is relatively normal and well enough balanced, though I should point out that I don't eat meat (my protein intake is still decent, don't worry). Should I increase or decrease calories? Note that I'm not currently looking to lose weight, just stay at maintenance
