Hi everyone, I’m looking for your favorite yarn for sweaters.

I want to knit a sweater for my sister, but there are a few restrictions:
-Suitable for sensitive skin (so far, cotton, viscose, linen, and merino work best)
-Affordable
- DK or fingering weight (or both)
- Machine washable and possibly even dryer-safe
- Low synthetic fiber content (max. 30%)
- Available in Germany without customs or similar fees
- Good color selection

Personally, I lean toward Drops Cotton Merino, since I’ve already knitted a baby blanket with it and it regularly goes through the washing machine. Yet it still looks great.

But I’d love to hear your suggestions too :)
Thank you

My first Tolsta Tee ( from Rebecca Clow) of the year is finished ☑️
I did a few modifications to better fit my lager arms ( I merged two sizes together)
Added a cable in the front and ribbing on the sides.

I kitted it with a Bamboo Cotton blend, so it will be nice in spring and early summer.
Is from a German based company called “Supergarne” it’s quite affordable. The specific yarn is called Capri. And costs about 1,99€ a ball (50m)

It has a really nice feeling on the skin, I will definitely knit with it again.
