Hello, I recently had a visit with their orthopedic doctor that claimed my condition is degenerative despite the injuries I claimed when the incident happened.
Like, dorsalgia, lower back pain, muscle spasms, feeling whole body pain, etc. Even if I felt better before the injury.
The doctor that examined me claims they don’t see anything on their xray either and may be a muscle strain or something similar. While the freaking doctor I had to talk to secondarily at my appointment (aka the main doctor) said it may be arthritis and/or degenerative. On top of that, he deadass attempted to blame my weight.
On top of that, the reviews online for him are downright awful, so I’m not too surprised that people were right about his rudeness and lack of understanding of anything I said.
I may not be the smallest woman, but even with weight, I went from being able to get through many exhausting work days, with little to no pain. To, not being able to work within my restrictions to light duty with only slight different restrictions now.
Even if I hadn’t been working since my injury in February and have been going to physical therapy as directed. I’m just not feeling the best. Plus, I’m 26, active, but mainly sedentary, and only worked up to less than a year before injury. No extensive work history to collide with that diagnosis. I could understand if I put in 15 years at someone’s manual labor job, but I haven’t. I don’t really get a chance to work because of how demanding school could be. It’s simply hard to manage both.
At this point, is it worth it to attempt to get legal counsel or would be smart to continue past their MMI date in a month and wait the process out?
I’ve tried to be very patient, but this process has taken a toll on me mentally and physically. I just wanted to know what left is there I can do?
I’m so sick of this freaking system….
