Whats your experience on selling original fine art?

I'm an artist who does acrylic/oil paintings. Ive sold a few on etsy in the past months, but not as much as id like. I've sold more through mercari/ebay.(like, a lot more)

I try to advertise on tictok, I have a small following, but I'm finding it so hard to sell on etsy. Even with ads people arent biting. I know my artwork is good and its priced fair. Ive tried raising/lowering prices to see if it makes a difference.

Is etsy maybe not the best platform for original art anymore?

Can anyone recommend a better platform?

Or are people just not buying fine artwork anymore?

Just finished this expressivley painted PokeBall and Gengar!

My husband and I recently got back into pokemon. I am a fine art painter so I figured why not try painting some Pokémon fan art? These are tiny paintings, I'll link my shop in the comments if anyone is interested in supporting a small artist who also loves pokemon!

I just picked up Pokémon Violet, so far it's pretty fun but a lot of dialog in the beginning hours. I just HAD to pick sprigatito! 😊
