My girlfriend had a sit down with me a few days ago and can't do the distance anymore, but wants to stay friends. She told me it wasnt a good idea for me to come out for her birthday holiday that I booked for us. I had been saving for almost a year to move overseas with her, and started applying to schools there so im a bit caught off guard. Shes my best friend, but I told her I needed space for a while. Im unsure how I feel about this, and the bnb i booked for us was non-refundable. I was supposed to leave next week. Guess im just looking for support from some wonderful people here.
