Constant game crashes, how to fix?
Recently I've been getting back into Sons of the Forest, but I'm having a lot of issues with game crashes. Typically, it'll be fine until I've been playing for a few days, then it'll crash every few minutes when in-game.
I've tried playing with different graphics settings, but that doesn't seem to help. I've also tried resetting my GPU driver settings, and that hasn't done much either. I've verified integrity of files through Steam, too. It seems like it may crash more often with higher graphics settings, though.
The game is pretty vague with crash logs so I haven't really been able to decode the issue myself. Just wondering if anybody is having a similar issue or if there's a fix. It's to my understanding that the game hasn't received updates in a while, so hopefully it's something I can work around.
Here are my specs:
- RTX 4080 SUPER
- Intel Core i9-14900KF
- 128GB DDR5 RAM (I believe 6000mhz)
- Windows 11
- Playing on Steam
