Hi all, new barb player here. I've really been enjoying the new season so far. I got through most of my season journey on Warlock but was struggling against Mephistos, so I decided to go with the meta and try out barb for the first time. I'm absolutely loving it. I progress slowly up to T11 using the normal WW setup, without Selig, but I got a very nice one to drop and have since converted to the selig setup.
Now here's my first road block. I've been trying to understand the math and mechanics behind the build, as low life builds always scare me. I understand that the less life you have with selig, the tankier you are supposed to be. However, as soon as I attempt to run on T12 I get instantly destroyed by trash mobs. My fury sits at around 320 and my health is only at 560.
I have double checked the rolls on my gear and compared them to the ideal rolls on both maxroll and robs build, and for the most part, I'm spot on. A few non optimized rolls, but it's for more offensive things like all damage or vuln damage instead of crit damage and so on. My defensive rolls all seem to align. My aspects are correct and are above average rolls, and I have all recommended mythics including a tyraels (I also have a legendary chest I can switch to but was having the same issue.)
The only thing I'm lacking is the correct aspect roll on my selig. Maybe that's where I'm messing up and shouldn't play the build until RNG blesses me with it, but other than that, things seem to align to the recommended builds. All my paragon glyphs are 51 or higher, boards are specced to the recommended, etc.
My question is, is this build supposed to actually be tanky and "immortal" or is there a step I'm missing or mechanic I'm not understanding? I'm at work currently, so I cannot include my actual build here, but if needed I can share it when I get home later.
Any help from the pros would be appreciated. Thanks y'all!
