And if it’s not a perfect perfect and just “good” there’s barely any crack to the bat and it’s an infield out. I know everyone here is gonna speak their mind but I’ve been trying to nail this moment for at least 2 hrs. There’s no reason this should be this hard.

I attempted a build and the joints were not great. Everything worked but something seemed wonky with the back left motor joints. So after doing some more practicing on mamba practice pcb & realizing I was forgetting to wet the tip, I felt pretty confident to give it another try. Let my iron heat to 675 F wet the tip and the first little blob looked great. However, the iron immediately starts declining in temp as soon as I’m warming a pad for more than a few seconds. Eventually just going ape shit and reading thermal runaway on the lcd screen. For context, I am using one of those pinecil irons & powering it with my MacBook USB-C wire & wall block. What could be causing the fall in temp and is there a way to prevent it? I have to sit there and wait like 5 mins in between everything I do & it’s led to joints looking terrible in some cases because I’m not pulling it off fast enough before it cools down. Any help would be appreciated.
