I'm putting together a custom kit:

- Roland V31 module

- Lemon cymbals

- Yamaha DTX6k5-M snare/tom kit (4 pieces)

- Simmons KP180 kick drum

I'm thinking of using only two boom stands, using the same base to mount a double tom and the left crash on the same stand. I'd attach a clamp to the ride boom for a right crash arm, and a straight stand for the china and clamp for floor tom. What do you think? Anything I should change?

The reason for using only two complete booms is because I’ll be buying all the hardware in another country, and the flight only allows me to carry 23kg.
