Destiny’s Tristan debate helped me get a raccoons out of my attic

I live in Florida and one night while I was messing with my gaming pc I heard loud bangs and crashing around right over my head. It persisted until it devolved into violent scratching on the walls.

Raccoons got into my attic. We called Animal Control but they’re so backed up they weren’t able to come for another 3 or 4 days. My gf then told me that “Humans talking persistently scare them away”. I tried shouting and banging the wall but I must’ve insulted them in their native tongue because they became more feral and belligerent.

I decided to set my iPad up against the wall, volume maxed, and play the Destiny v Tristan “The Great Reset” debate on a loop.

Went upstairs in the morning with the debate still playing, somewhere in Tristan’s 25 minute opening statement; the walls were silent. Next night I went upstairs again to check, couldn’t hear anything but decided to hit them with another dose of stakeholder capitalism just to be safe.

Two nights later my attic is vacant and there are several raccoons in south florida scurrying in the shadows wondering what Klaus Schwab is currently working on.

Our HOA has background checks as a requirement for all owners and/or their tenants. My question is, if a homeowner is background checked when they first buy in 2024 and it comes back with nothing troubling, but then in 2025 commit a violent crime that would have initially precluded them from ownership, what recourse (if any) does the HOA have?

How would your respective HOAs handle a situation like this?
