Failing to improve--what's my outlook as is?
3.1 GPA -- my first two years of undergrad were abysmal and i had to take a step back and re-evaluate. When i returned to college on my own terms I knocked it out of the park, 4.0 gpa for the last two years, but it only could drag my GPA up to a 3.1. At the time i wasn't considering law school so obviously I would have done things differently.
I'm taking the LSAT in june and august but looking to apply this fall--but my PT results are just all over the place. My diagnostic was 164 and since then my PTs have been 169, 167, and just last week 163 😭 I've been drilling on powerscore and everything but i can't seem to consistently raise that score! If anything i feel like i'm getting dumber. 🥲
In your experience what sort of score should I be shooting for to be comfortable making up for a 3.1 GPA? I imagine it's not possible to substantially improve by june but possibly by august? I'd like to do the best i can and see where that can take me.
I know I'm not T14 material or anything but I'm based in the Northeast--what connecticut, Massachusetts, or NYC schools should i be considering?
thanks
