Long story short…

I received financial help from this organization and I am so grateful it got me out of an abusive situation.

It’s been a full lease term now and I am curious to know what happens to the deposit? (1100)

My old landlord is claiming I do not get to keep the deposit as it was given by a third party..this is fishy.

I’ve asked for an itemized statement as it is my right as a tenant and asked for the remainder of the deposit back. It feels like pulling teeth.

I intend on asking CVOEO about this when they open on Monday and will have them reach out to set him straight either way.

I am just currently anxious about it even though I’m already secure and safe in my new space and doing well financially. I wanted to find some clarity and maybe some answers with this.

I hope I’m not alone.

If you’re the type of person to not purchase things with bad energy this is one to stay away from.

Hi,

I was abused in this small space for about 3-4 months. I wasn’t allowed to shower unless it was down at a river, eat freely as that was taking away resources, yelled and threatened constantly in this space. Mind you I was paying rent. I remember c^tting myself on the floors of this tiny home. The same floor the boy made me sleep on instead of a bed. I just wanted to end my life to be free of that snake.

I lived with a schizophrenic and he was really tweaking out most days. There was tons of smoking inside (weed + cigarettes) I had to reach out to STEPS, 211, the domestic abuse hotline and CVOEO to get away from this man that debilitated and trapped me here.

This place should be a crime scene as his family gave him the ability to abuse me in such a way.

But hey lol!

It’s up for 22500 and if you’d like a mobile nightmare hit my abusers parents up on marketplace.
