How long is too much of a gap between childhood friends (I 19M and her 19F)?
Elaboration I (19M) had a childhood best friend who we'll call Ava (19F) for clarity, I moved away about 6 years ago (around covid) to a city about half an hour drive. I was scrolling through my contacts and saw I still had Ava's number, I've been wanting to reach out to go do something, or just talk. Problem is idk if 6 years of zero communication is too long. Plus Ava probably has a boyfriend by now and I don't want her to think I'm trying to reconnect for a romantic relationship (for lack of a better term).
