Samsung TV recently purchased, 50" Crystal UHD UN50U8000FDXZA
With a RCN android TV powered streaming tivo device Pyxis-RCN
HDMI Connection.
Short story: This one is turning on by itself.
Did my research online, HDMI-CEC turned off (Anynet+ on TV / CEC on device)
Still doing it, funny thing, similar but not exact model upstairs not doing it and the tv has CEC on ...
All units updated to latest SW available.
New Batteries in TV / RCN remotes. Remotes checked for stuck button.
TV logs are still showing for earlier date no current entries I can see, but only showing CEC Command, Source Enabled (from 3/30, nothing current for unknown reason)
I'm thinking of Factory reset on TV, but wanted to hit up the community first for any other ideas.
