Samsung UA55D6600 sudden lines on screen

My TV suddenly got these lines on screen. It's been there for maybe a month now but it's gotten a lot thicker and the fainter bands are new. What could be the issue here? I purchased a spare T con board in case that was the issue. Saw online that it could also be the flexible connectors inside getting loose. Would me constantly moving the TV around cause this?

Anyone got any suggestions?

Got this Samsung TV from a co worker a couple days ago. Without a power cord. I’ve learned you can’t just get this cord at Best Buy. Or even on the Samsung site. What should I do?
The model number is: QN55Q7FNAF
Smart Cable number: BN96-44628V
Thanks for anyone whom can help!

S95F 77” vs S90F 83” vs S90H 77”

Im looking to upgrade and narrowed my search down to these three models. The S95F 77” and S90F 83” are the same price while the S90H 77” is $400 more. Ignoring the price difference, which is the best TV to buy? Thanks!

Same settings, different picture

I have 2 Samsung tv. I recently noticed this change. I don’t know if it’s the panel degrading or what. I used the exact same settings in both tv and the same AppleTv.

It seems as if there is a whole different level of quality and looks as if I chose different settings for every tv, which I didn’t. The images above look like they have a white veil over them while the pictures below show richness in the skin color.

Is there a way to fix these? What is it? I don’t want specific settings as they are forbidden in this Reddit . I just want to know if it’s a sign of the panel dying.

Samsung S85H or R85H

Hey guys,

Need help deciding between the Samsung S85H and the R85H.

The TV will be in a small room, 2 meters away from the bed/sofa. There’s a side window, but the room is usually quite dim.

Is the S85H's OLED contrast better for a bedroom, or should I go with the new R85H Micro RGB for the better color volume? Also, is 65" a bit much for a 2m distance, or is it the "sweet spot" for 4K?

In the living room I have a Frame Pro.

Samsung 65 inch QN80F vs QN80H?

Hi All, I am planning to purchase samsung 65 inch tv.

Based on my budget, I am considering 2 options: QN80F vs QN80H.

I know QN80H is latest 2026 model while QN80F is 2025 model but QN80H only has 2 channels speaker while old QN80F has 4 channels speaker. So I am confused which is better in latest 2026 model QN80H vs old QN80F. What are upgrades in QN80H and what are downgrades?

And overall which one to buy?

Thank you.

question about zero gap wall mount for 77" S90F

so I'm considering upgrading my 2018-era samsung 75" Q7FN TV to a 77" 2025 S90F. I'm currently using a WMN-M22EB/ZA zero gap mount and I guess the OLEDs mount differently and aren't compatible. fine.

so I go to the samsung page for "what wall mount to use for my TV" (https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/tv-audio-video/what-wall-mount-is-compatible-with-my-samsung-tv/) and it recommends WMN-B50EB Slim Fit wall mount for:

OLED 83” / 77” / 65” / 55” S95F

OLED 65” / 55” / 48” S90F

and the product page says "55, 65, 77 inch S95F / 42, 48, 55, 65 inch S90F"

soooo do they not make a zero gap wall mount for 77" S90F for some reason, or did it just get left off the description incorrectly?

advice on alternatives?

S95F vs S85H

Hey everyone, I’m looking to buy a new TV and can’t decide between the Samsung S95F and S85H. They’re basically the same price in my country, which makes the choice even harder.

Would you personally go for:

• last year’s flagship (S95F) or

• this year’s mid-range model (S85H)?

I mainly watch movies/series and do some gaming on my Xbox Series X. From what I’ve seen, the S95F seems to have better brightness, processing, and overall premium features, but I’m wondering if the newer S85H has enough improvements to make it the better long-term buy.

Would really appreciate opinions from people who’ve used either of them. Thanks!

Details while gaming take a while to load in or are blurry on Q7F TV?

Had a cheap TCL TV for the past 10 years and the picture was pretty solid until the video card died and now none of the HDMI slots work. So I bought a Samsung Q7F 50 inch TV from best buy a few days ago. While playing most games the details are taking a while to load in all the way. Some things like plants and other vegetation look blurry unless I let the screen fixate on that spot for a few seconds. I enjoy my Samsung phone and figured that the TV would actually be a step up from a 10 year old TCL. Do I just need to adjust some settings or did I just make a terrible purchase?

Wanting to upgrade an LG G3 OLED, which direction should I go?

I have a G3 OLED in my living room that is just slightly too small, and hasn't had any issues yet. Most likely will move to my master bedroom to replace an old 1080P Visio that won't die. I really want to upgrade it to an 85-inch OLED, and am trying to figure out if I should go with Samsung or stick with LG G6. I really want the increased screen size in an OLED. While I wouldn't rule out a 96-103 on size alone, obviously, the price rules it out! LOL

Samsung TV plus auto running and I want to disable it (S90F)

Any help would be appreciated, I hate it enough that on the hub menu the tv advert takes up half the screen but now it’s auto running every time I boot off my console and the tv is still on etc, I want it totally gone but I imagine that’s not the case.

From 2022 Frame to Q8F - Using Slim Mounts

Hello

I am replacing a 2022 Frame with a Q8F both 85inch.

The Frame right now is mounted using the included slim wall mount.

I would LOVE to just swap out the mount on the tv and hang the Q8F using the same wall brackets and not have to move them. Not finding much info online.

Will I be able to swap the brackets on the TV and simply mount using the same brackets?

Samsung tv bugging out

Hi. I have a Samsung The Frame Pro 2025 tv (QN65LS03FWFXZC.) One day my tv randomly broke. You can still see the icons if you look closely but everything, especially people, look kinda like an x-ray. I have tried adjusting color filters, brightness, factory resetting multiple times, and nothing changes. Would love if someone could help!

I got myself S95F 77" .

I was watching the boys S05E04 on prime video.

This episode had lots of dark scene and whenever there's any character smoking on the screen. There will be a bottom right warning label about tobacco. This label causes the issue.

Whenever this label comes, it creats band or streak artifacts. It remains there even after the label is gone.

It immediately goes away when I press upward button and bring control bar.

Pics and video fornrefrence.

What is this and (how) Can I fix it?

Hey redditors, I got my Samsung Smart tv GU50AU8079UXZG in december 2023. during the last days I recognized these weird stripes on the bottom edge of the display. Usually im really careful with all of my technical devices and I cant really explain how that happened :/
Do you have any guess how that could have been happened and if or how I could fix it?

So I found offers on the samsung store and bought a new TV.

So I bought the M80HAF, thinking it was better than the QN70H (Both are the newest Model). Did I Just make a mistake?

The offers were great, got the M80HAF for 300 dlls, and the QN70H was for 350 dlls.
