New Tank Thoughts?
Actively cycling this tank and would love some input!
A) I’m looking for a good “centerpiece” aquatic plant. Right now I have a sword plant in the corner, a Borneo fern in the back (I think that’s what it’s called), and a few others that I’ve honestly forgotten the names of haha. I’m planning to add micro swords and glosso for a nice carpet/semi-midground setup, but I’d love suggestions for a taller, flowy plant to really round out the tank.
B) This tank is specifically for my first fish — a Golden Wonder Killifish that I got about 3 years ago with basically zero knowledge because I instantly fell in love with his goofy face. He’s about 4 inches long now and has officially been removed from my other tank for… obvious reasons. He eats everyone except my blue ram 😅
So now he gets his own setup, but I’m curious what good tank mates would be for him. My current idea is:
2–3 more killifish
A school of cardinal tetras (from what I’ve read)
Maybe 2 Mexican dwarf crayfish?
What do you all think? Any stocking or plant suggestions would be awesome!
