How do I find a CD player component for my stereo?
I have a new Sony receiver and speakers, but I want to be able to play our CDs again, too. I’ve looked around, but I have no idea where to start. Any recommendations?

I guess this got past me back in the day when it came out, but I found this show on Tubi the other day and I was:
Intrigued
Disgusted
Mesmerized
In love
Grossed out
Freaked out
It didn’t help that I watched it with herbal enhancement. Or maybe it did help?
Anyway, watch it if you haven’t. Each episode is only around 10 minutes and there are 13 or 14 of them.
Note: it’s animated, but NOT for kids.
Fancy seeing you here, Benedict Cumberdale!
Here’s just one of the many pieces of evidence I have in support of my argument:
“Sometimes it’s just nice to win one.”
Sony receiver and speakers, Insignia turntable. All new.
I wanted a vintage Marantz or vintage Pioneer receiver, amazing mind blowing speakers, I wanted a McIntish tube amp, the best turntable ever made, but first, I do NOT have that kind of budget and maybe more importantly, I’m just a woman in her 50s who wants to listen to her old B-52s and Black Sabbath albums again, you know?
(A guy on Reddit recommended that turntable to me and after I checked it out, I bought it. While I was waiting on it, it occurred to me he could have been sarcastic! Or joking! I still don’t know, BUT it’s a decent turntable for what I want. I don’t need DJ tools.)
I’m 55. I have thick, long, silver hair (with some pepper). I’m considering it. (I’m retired, by the way, so it doesn’t matter.)
Would you do it? Reminds me of Cindy Lauper back in the day.
Here is a SMALL chicken fried steak in west Texas.
This is also a football sized scoop of mashed taters, and a half gallon of gravy, but also the world’s tiniest salat.
Not pictured: the extremely buttery Texas toast because it FLEW into my face hole too fast.
Edit: this amazing meal inspired by the strain known as Marshmallowz.
Our strawberry hedgehog bloomed this morning! I yelled when I saw it!
First time it’s done so. We’ve had it two years. (It’s in a pot that degrades.)
