Saw something about scientists getting 200k brain cells onto a chip and training them to play Doom. Why is it always doom though? calculators, pregnancy tests, Minecraft, etc. All these have been modified to play Doom, but why? Why doom and what happened to make people even want to try this. i need to know
so about 8 months ago i got this room in a house, i never signed a contract or anything, but now I'd like to move a few states away, permanently. I never met the actual landlord, I've only met and paid his nephew because he lives there and such, but he said i can move out, but if have to continue paying rent until the end of the lease in july. is there anything i can do? bc im thinking if i didn't sign anything, whats stopping me from just disappearing?
