Helloooo! So, I’m a college student 21M, living in a dorm. Our hall has three washing machines and three dryers. Earlier this evening I came downstairs to wash my clothes from the week, only to find that two of the washers had been taken up by the same person (the times listed were identical) and the last was full as well. I was exhausted, so I waited the thirteen minutes for the laundry to wash, and then the person came downstairs and moved their laundry to a dryer. I put mine in one of the free washers.
So, I wait the thirty minutes it takes. My stuff is washed, but the dryers are all full now. The same person’s laundry is almost done, so I decide I can wait.
Now, a thing about these dryers— they don’t always dry everything out immediately. It is perfectly reasonable to put the clothes in for another ten minutes or so after they’re done, so I expect to wait that long— I can handle that.
This person puts their laundry in again and just LEAVES. Every dryer is going to take 30 minutes or more. I’ve been waiting for twenty minutes and this person still isn’t back, my clothes are still wet, and I don’t have time to waste down here waiting for someone else to MAYBE come deal with their laundry. So, WIBTAH if I removed their clothes from the dryer and just, put them on top? I’m rather frustrated with this. Thank you!
