Wondering if anyone has any thoughts on places I might want to consider moving my family of 4 to find more financial stability, social confidence, and inner peace.
I've attached two different views of my astro chart followed by two different views of my husband's chart for consideration. We were born in almost the same city a year and 2 days apart, so they're really similar looking and maybe easy to get confused. Mine has the North Pole Intersection in Alaska, his has the North Pole Intersection in Finland.
We are currently both living very close to our Pluto line and, while I'm not basic enough to call the pluto line a "bad line" to live on... after a decade of employment struggle, a permanent physical injury, and two new mental health diagnoses, I think I'm ready to try a different planetary energy for a while. Totally generalized "first glance" thoughts are welcome, but if any nerds want to do a deeper dive, there's more info about my needs and restrictions below.
Considerations for choosing a place to live:
Legal marijuana is very important unless I plan on getting a divorce before I move. My husband's permanent injury causes constant debilitating pain so he is on a constant threshold of marijuana just to get through his day. No, there are no other treatment options unless I find the Old One that Dr. Strange went to.
For an interestingly morbid trade off, my husband's injury means he gets monthly income for the rest of his life and it's enough to qualify us for a "passive income" visa in most countries that have one (the full passive income visa list is Argentina, Guatemala, Malta, Portugal, Austria, Honduras, Mauritius, Spain, Costa Rica, Indonesia, Nicaragua, Thailand, Czech Republic, Ireland, Panama, United Kingdom, Germany, Malaysia, Philippines, and Vanuatu if anyone is curious). He doesn't quite make enough money for the Ireland one right now.
The sweet-spot of countries that both offer both legal marijuana and a passive income visa (that we can afford) includes Argentina, Malta, Portugal, Costa Rica, Thailand, Czech Republic, Panama, UK, and Germany. So any of those is probably the easiest to get into...if we'd be happy.
If we pursue a work visa for me instead of a passive income visa for him, that opens up a few other countries with legal marijuana, like Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay, Chile, Peru, Norway, Finland, Georgia, Poland, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Switzerland, and Lithuania.
For that work visa, I have a B.S. degree in Psychology with a Professional Writing minor, an A.A. degree in Spanish, and professional experience as a Spanish to English translator. I'm unfortunately not an entrepeneur or real estate mogul, which seems to be the easiest way to get a visa, but I have a decent amount of experience in a couple different fields like Administration, University Admissions, Data Analysis, Hospitality, and even Animal Husbandry and Organic Agriculture. I'm hopeful that I'll be able to qualify for a work visa in at least one of those fields but I may not have enough experience for a country with tight restrictions and a country with a more desperate need for workers might be easier for me to get into.
I also have a "high aptitude for languages" according to the military and still remember a decent chunk of Arabic, so I have decent confidence in my ability to pick up another language relatively quickly if I'm living in the area, but a reasonable expectation of finding other English speakers or translators would make my husband feel more comfortable. Other cultural preferences include a community that protects women, values children, and understands the importance of trees and biodiversity.
Thank you in advance for any thoughts!
