System:
- Laptop: Lenovo IdeaPad L340-15IRH Gaming (81LK)
- CPU: Intel Core i5-9300H
- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 3GB Max-Q + Intel UHD 630
- Driver: nvidia 575.64.05
- Kernel: 6.12.77-1-MANJARO
- Distro: Manjaro XFCE
- GPU mode: hybrid (envycontrol)
- Bootloader: GRUB
Problem:
Random green/pink horizontal color line artifacts appear on screen for 1-2 seconds intermittently. Happens with any application (Firefox, games, Krita, Steam) and even during boot. No errors appear in dmesg when it happens.
Already tried:
- Multiple kernels (6.18, 6.12 LTS)
- ForceCompositionPipeline enabled
- nvidia-drm modeset=1
- NVreg_PreserveVideoMemoryAllocations=1
- NVreg_UsePageAttributeTable=1
- envycontrol hybrid --force-comp
- Picom compositor
- Xfwm4 compositor disabled
This happens on multiple distros (Linux Mint, Fedora, Manjaro). Works fine on Windows. nvidia-settings shows "Display Devices: None" on the NVIDIA GPU, which is expected for this hardware since the display is physically connected to the Intel iGPU.
Any ideas?
