Hello I have MSI Katana 15 B13V laptop and having some issues with its charger - Chicony a21-200p2b.
At first, the charging brick started making weird squeaking sounds, at first I didn’t do much about it but later started to investigate what’s wrong.
At first I changed the end cable which goes from brick to my socket extender and for some time it stopped. So I thought I fixed it but few weeks later it came back. I tried completely different power socket and strangely to me, both end cables were fine without any sounds.
However, today I connected my charger to the end cable which was already in the wall (not to the original extender) and saw quite a big spark coming from it. I immediately pulled it out and did not connect it to my laptop. I tried to connect the charger back again to see if something happens and I car hear weird clicking noise in it, even after disconnecting it from the electrical power.
Can somebody tell what’s actually wrong here? I am hella confused.
