Further research opportunities

You think you're nerdy? I'm a bachelors student wanting to start writing research papers and getting into more in-depth research about a topic I am fascinated about, above my current subjects. I am doing an assignment now about the topic i'm interested in, and will be for the rest of the semester. But I want more. If I was gonna do a PhD, this is what it would be in. any way to get a head start? the topic I am researching feels urgent and i'm really into it and wanna do more and contribute to discussions about how this topic should be addressed. The topic is in the social sciences.

Thanks!

Taking longer to get over illness

Hey, I have some sort of throat thing, i feel fine other than having a persistant chesty cough especially in the morning and evening. its lasted a bit longer than it should so the chemist told me to go to the doctor (its flu season where I am and I want to get the shot but I can't until i'm "110% well"). This is not the first time my body has had trouble getting rid of a chest thing. last time it happened was last year and i've had multiple related and unrelated blood tests over the past year and none of them have flagged anything that could suggest that i'm immunocompromised. Has anyone else experienced this?
