I'm moving from the Mississippi River water department to the Minnetonka one, and am really going to miss the great tasting water we currently have. I have a softener system set up at the new place, but I hate the perpetual slimy feeling of salt-treated water, as well as the taste. Why does the Mississippi treatment plant make better tasting water, and what could I buy to make my Minnetonka water taste better? We've gotten so spoiled that my kids before mooching my water bottle if it's "home water" or not.
