I recently took my best friend Fiji to the ocean for the day. As we were walking the beach a man got out of his truck and said “I just have to ask, what is he?!” and to that I can only answer “a Fijian Mongrel” or simply “the most handsomest”. He’s certainly a unique fella.

DNA testing was done 6 or so years ago but was pretty vague with most of the percentage falling into a general “Herding Breed” category. He definitely has some of the herding breed personality characteristics.

Fiji’s mom, Frisky, was a wild dog from Fiji. Father is unknown (big surprise with a name like that). I’ve included pictures of his mother and brother (same litter), as well as a photo of him as a puppy.
