I'm managing to get to sleep ok but I often wake up wide awake after a few hours, rarely more than three hours and sometimes as few as just two hours.
I'm avoiding naps during the day and no caffeine after midday. Doing my best to exercise which helps a bit.
Are there sleep meds that are considered 'healthy' to take long term?
I was hoping to avoid taking sleeping meds but I guess if it stops me from going manic it's the lesser of two evils.
EDIT: Writing this post out and some of the replies helped me realise this could be the start of an episode.
