WTF do I do?! — to be a competitive NURSING school applicant

Hello I’m a freshman who wants to go into nursing!

I want to apply to a direct admit nursing school such as Duke University or UPenn.

I do not know what activities will make me competitive for nursing school in particular.

———————————

These are my stats:

4.7 weighted

4.0 unweighted

APs: chem, calc ab, calc bc, us gov, csp, psych, precalc, world, stats

No testing yet

———————————

- neuro-oncology research at Duke University (not paid, im interning.)

- USABO

- IPsyO

- director of an initiative that created resources and accommodations for kids with learning disabilities more specifically adhd to be academically successful

- 350 hours CFHK cards volunteering

- president and founder of mu alpha theta

- HOSA + FBLA

- I am also doing independent research with plans of submitting to a journal but I heard they don’t like independent research or don’t take it seriously so it is a bit demotivating

PLEASE HELP ME I CANT FIND MUCH ABOUT COMPETITIVE NURSING EXTRACURRICULARSSSSS
