Is there any research with Valacyclovir regarding it possibly hurting your immune systems natural response to the virus? I believe I have HSV2(1.04IGg after 3 weeks), some itching/burning sensation on inner thighs, a single sore on the waistline that’s been present since 4/25 but hasn’t popped, no pus or anything either, I was prescribed Valacyclovir from a virtual care doctor but was curious if taking it for the 7 days would hurt myself going forward with my bodies ability to suppress the virus moving forward or something? Idk.
