Told, just yesterday, that I have “many small” fibroids, a possible cyst, and a “complex” uterus.

Hi everyone. I, 35.7, have been TTC for one year and have experienced 3 chemical pregnancies back to back through this year.

After advocating after the 3rd loss I finally had basic, not RL bloods done, all normal, and an ultrasound.

I don’t have all the details yet but from the journal articles I’ve read, it’s not looking great for me.

I have read that the type of fibroid(s) that block implantation are likely the ones I have. I don’t have many answers yet, I don’t k ow the sizes or the kinds and locations yet but I am feeling well, devastated to be honest.

I am willing to have surgery and do what I have to do but man this is quite a shock. I know I should be grateful to have some kind of answers developing but I’m not. I’m sad and I’m frustrated.

I thank you all for sharing your experiences and hearing mine. If anyone ever wants to chat, I’m here.

Love and kindness from Canada.

Hi all,

I live in BC and have just five days ago completed all my degree requirements.

At the moment I’m feeling torn on which direction to go and welcome all feedback advice and opinions.

My passion is working with older adults. I have an opportunity to get hooked in with community healthy and geriatric mental health as a casual (not steady but will work toward my passion) however I need to become registered first. This could take up to 3 months maybe even more as the BCCSW has recently updated their portal and it’s taking longer to process applications.

I also have an interview next week for a resource social worker position with a child and family services agency (not my passion but would be great experience and I’ll be making money after being a student for six years).

Not sure what to do and feeling worried that it would be wrong of me to take a position as a “just for now until I get registered and am able to pursue what I really want”. I value the work and feel I could add meaningful contributions and learn a lot while there only is know it was temporary. I don’t wish to start my career wanting anyone to feel devalued or used or burning bridges. And I also know I could end up loving it and am super open to that too as I love working with caregivers and families.

I’m also not sure if I’m overthinking?

Thank you for your thoughts and your time.
