Hey! I’m thinking of buying more ram on my pc, since I’ve seen the screen sometimes stuttering (maybe because I’m playing on 4k?)
my specs are:
Rtx 5060 Ti 16gb VRAM, intel i5 14th gen, and 2T ssd, 500watt power supply, and 16gb ddr5 of ram
I browsed the internet for a 16gb ddr5 stick and it was priced at around 300 dollars (converted from my currency), but when I told my girlfriend she said she can get me 8gb of ddr4 for 20 dollars by using a laptop ram and an adapter to make it work on my pc (how is that even possible)
should I just go with her plan? I’m not sure since I heard that for the ram to work properly both sticks should be equal in terms of size or something? But on the other hand it would save me money since I’m saving up for college.. but if it’s to make sure my pc is future proof I’ll pay the extra money.
Thanks!
