In the ending of Interstellar, when Cooper meets older Murph on Cooper Station, she says that Brand is out there on the new planet setting things up.

What I don’t understand is: how would Murph know that?

Since no data or communication were sent back through the wormhole confirming Brand’s status? Or is Murph just assuming she succeeded based on the mission plan (Plan B and Edmunds’ planet being viable)?

Curious if this was ever explained or if it’s just an inference.
