Roma Loan Watch: Saud Abdulhamid continues his stellar performances with RC Lens

Tonight, he provided two assists in the semi-final against Toulouse, helping RC Lens reach their first Coupe De France final since 1998.

He has so far collected 3 goals and 7 assists in 27 appearances for RC Lens, who trail PSG by 1 point in Ligue 1 at the moment.

The French club is reportedly looking to exercise their buy-option. But given the possibility that Roma has inserted a counter -option, What do you think of Saud’s future in the club?

Injuries

Genuinely trying to understand why, for more than 10 years, our team has so many injuries and ironically, the players who went through those injuries did better in other teams (Zappacosta, as an example, was off almost all the time with us and seems to play regularly with Atlanta)

F Bologna

Why does it seem like when everybody else plays against little lamb bologna and Roma get lion bologna?

I fully expect them to come out guns blazing next week.

How many times have I seen that damn Cristante waving at the ref while we're conceding a goal 🫩

It always happens in a big game. Why bother intercepting the ball if you can just stand there, right?

Was it the Juve game that broke us?

What is the reason for this poor form since the beginning of march and that Juve game?

Is it the lack of moral because of the Juve 3-3 game when we completely bottled it.

Is it the injuries of our best players?

Or is it Gasps tactics fault?

Totti was that guy.

It’s not rocket science Totti spent most of his career playing with teammates who weren’t even close on his level but what did I just watch?

Heavy rain, an awful pitch and somehow (once again) the only guy who can make anything happen is a 36-year old. Not just that. he’s the only one who can even control the ball properly in those conditions.

The weight on the pass at 1:22 is genuinely unreal.

The things I would do to take back time and watch him live...

Gasperini leaves press conference with watery eyes

Mister Gasperini, asked about what he would like to take back from his previous team, started talking about Percassi and the the situation he had at Atalanta, then has left the press conference with watery eyes and smashing doors.

What are your thoughts about this?
