Currently have a diesel (used, 2010) Volvo which is causing me significant issues and cost.
Thinking of switching to my first EV.
Looking at used BMW i3 options. Mainly because of body (no rust risk), reliable battery health, and size.
My requirements: 70 mile round trip commute. On average 4 days a week. Mainly motorway. Will mainly be charging at home.
I have the following options and not sure which is better.
Option 1: 2021. ~40,000 miles. No auxiliary cabin heater (heat pump). Heated front seats. Harmon Kardon audio system. £12,800
Option 2: 2021. ~17,000 miles No auxiliary cabin heater (heat pump). Heated front seats. Harmon Kardon audio system. Adaptive cruise control (might be useful on the motorway commutes?) £13,300
Any experiences with the i3 or advice would be appreciated.
