Hey all, 34 year old deep voiced college professor here, seeking anything not too serious. Some kind of summer fling, flirtatious, adventure partner would really hit the spot for me. I am really into pop culture. I love to go to the movies, binge watch TV (while shiny hunting Charmander on Pokemon Firered), and do my own version of carpool karaoke. Some of the stuff I've been into lately:
Movies: Horror in general, Faces of Death was pretty cool, They Will Kill You was amazing, Undertone was mid. I also really liked The Drama, Project Hail Mary, and even The Super Mario Galaxy Movie. The Dark Knight, Jojo Rabbit, Everything Everywhere All at Once, and It's a Wonderful Life are my Letterboxd top 4.
TV: Currently loving Daredevil Born Again, the most recent season of The Boys, and The Pitt. Hate-watching Euphoria. I am sort of into DTF: St. Louis? Shrinking and the Scrubs reboot were both also very good. Ted Lasso, The OC, The West Wing, The Newsroom, and Lost are all formative shows for me.
Music: Sabchella was so fucking cool. I really have a girlypop-side of me that is pretty independent of just being super attracted to a lot of contemporary pop stars (I just want to be the Travis Kelce to someone's Taylor Swift. I promise I'm notably important in my field). Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party was my AOTY, and I really enjoyed seeing The Black Parade opening show from MCR. I am massively excited for Noah Kahan's new album, and also love a lot of pop punk and classic rock. And Metal. Really I love everything.
I also play a lot of video games, have all three major consoles, and a gaming PC. I am currently working through the Resident Evil games after LOVING Requiem, and am aways looking to be someone's Player 2.
I read some and write some, and I really need to do more of the former to get better at the latter. Sally Rooney's books have been part of my emotional arc this past year, and I love that for me.
