Hey everyone!
So, last night I dug out my original Xbox and figured I'd mod it, since softmodding is now pretty simple to do. At first, everything went well. I used Rocky5's ENDGAME exploit 1.2.2 and got the softmod all set up. I made sure to grab the backup of the EEPROM.bin, as well.
Now, at first everything was going fine. I used FTP to backup the C and E drives, and then used all of the backups to make a new hard drive with FATXplorer. I decided to use a SATA drive with the StarTech adapter, since that seemed to be the most reliable option.
Well, now I have a really interesting problem. The new hard drive gives me error 06 when I try to launch the console, and my *original* hard drive gives me error 07. I've essentially managed to brick the console.
I'm hoping someone here might have a solution to get this fixed, because I really want to play some OG games. I thank you all for any and all help in advance. If you need more info, just comment and I will gladly respond.
EDIT: IT WORKS! I just had to copy the XboxHDM C drive to the new HDD. That was a 7 hour headache for a 2 minute fix.
