I bought tickets to Skate Canada, which is over Halloween weekend. Im so curious if people dress up in costumes on Halloween! Has anyone experienced this? It'll be my first time attending a skating competition, so I'd also love any tips for what to bring! Can't wait!

Hello, a friend and I are coming to Kelowna for Skate Canada International at the end of October! I was wondering if it is generally cheaper to get a hotel within walking distance of Prospera Place, or to get a cheaper hotel farther away and pay for an Uber? I'd love any recommendations, thanks!
