Hello, I’ve found my father’s 2007 camera, and I’m dying to see the photos on this xD card. I’m having some trouble with the card, though. The camera says to clean the terminal of the card, so I did as directed, and it still doesn’t work. I honestly think the xD card is and looks clean. Then I thought it might be the slot in the camera that might be dirty. I tried to clean the slot with a dust blower and it didn’t work. I then tried to clean the slot with a soft brush that I have in my camera’s cleaning kit and apparently it didn’t do anything. So I bought an xD card reader to plug it into my computer to see if I could get the photos, but my computer says “The disk you attached was not readable by this computer”. So I’m assuming the problem is with the xD card. Does anybody know how I could try to fix this issue? Or if it’s even fixable? I’m just trying to see the photos and transfer the content to a new SD card. I’ve also connected the camera to my computer with the USB cable to see if I could get the photos that way but no luck :(
