Celica 1ZZ oil drain thread cut / gap in

Hello

I was changing the oil today on my Celica 1.8VVTI (1ZZ engine) and I saw that the thread has a linear cut / gap, it is located on the lower part of the thread, the closest to the ground.

I dont know if that is normal or the thread is broken.
