I don't want this to offend anybody. I'm simply curious and want an answer. I know that in the Quran there are prophecies. However, the explanation I often find as to why people can commit evil acts is due to free will. Does the existence of prophecies not mean that all behavior is predetermined and that free will doesn't truly exist? Once again this is just a question and I do not mean to offend anybody in any way.

Im 17m and my parents are pretty strong in their faith. I've not been strong in my own faith since I was a child and now that I'm older living a double life has started to affect my mental health. I don't live in an arab country that wiuld make people sk strict about islam. I live in the United Kingdom.How do I bring up this conversation in an easy way and how soon should I do it? Should I ease into the conversation in some way? I ha e so many questions, it would be helpful if you could give your own personal experience, opinions and tips to make this easier.
