Some points as per this report:

1. First FIR was filed after pressure from Hindutva crowd, not after so called undercover investigation. Even that female agreed for FIR after hindutva politicians tried to convince her for 2-3 days.

2. No FIR invokes Maharashtra’s anti-conversion law, the Dharma Swatantrya Adhiniyam, 2026.

3. On reports that said an undercover probe led to FIRs, Nashik Police Commissioner Sandeep Karnik has clarified that plain-clothes women officers visited the TCS office after the initial complaint and encouraged employees to come forward.

Note: So it seems it was not undercover investigation. Just that female police officers went to TCS office in plain clothes, to make females comfortable to discuss any harassment.

4. A senior police officer put it differently when asked about the media coverage: “Media people have made so many stories. No one is interested in what we say but only in what they want to hear.”
