Hello Everyone,

I just took an intro class at a Club Pilates and I’m planning to make it my main form of exercise.

I’m a complete newbie to this and prior to this I barely worked out.

My goal is to lose weight, (About 25-30 pounds), improve flexibility, and improve stamina.

Since I’m just starting out, would rotating between Reformer 1 and Center+Balance everyday be viable for a complete newbie?

I would like to do lessons six days a week, so my schedule would look like this:

Monday: C+B 1
Tuesday: Reformer 1
Wednesday: C+B 1
Thursday: Reformer 1
Friday: C+B 1
Saturday: Reformer 1
Sunday: Rest Day

Is this realistic for a beginner? I wanted to incorporate C+B every other day in the beginning because I heard it’s good form of recovery. And since I’m out of shape, I thought this would be good to rest my muscles while still remaining active.

And as my body becomes acclimated to Pilates, I’ll start to wean off the C+B classes and go mostly to the reformer classes everyday instead.

Is this a good plan?
