Last one I think, but you guys have been so fantastic.

33F, 35M.

Really like IPAs, sours and stouts. Everything else we like too, those are just the favorites.

We don’t like sours made with artificial flavors, instead we like real fruits.

Thanks again!

You guys have been SO helpful on my last post and I promise to get back to everyone who commented but I forgot to ask two more questions!

33F, 35M

What’s the best wine bar around? Bonus for if they have the owner or super passionate worker that knows a lot about the menu. It’s always interesting to talk to people who are knowledgeable about wine :)

Best dessert place in the area? Your local favorite! We’re pretty flexible. Just maybe a place we pop into after dinner for a drink and a dessert, if there’s a must try spot!

Thank you all again, so much!

Hi! 33F and 35M going to STL this weekend. We’re really open to exploring so any neighborhoods will be considered!

This is my first time visiting and would be grateful for some recommendations! You don’t have to answer them all :)

What’s the “can’t miss” local restaurant that is considered upscale best for a fancy date night?

We love a properly mixed cocktail with depth and flavor profiles! What’s the can’t miss local cocktail bar? Ambiance is a part of this too!

Where is the best espresso martini, made with real espresso?

Best smash burger with quality ingredients, probably hand pattied?

Whats the best local house-made Bloody Mary for brunch? Please no mixes like Zing Zang :)

While we’re at it, best brunch?

What’s the “can’t miss” local BBQ restaurant?

Best place for an Italian sandwich in the Hill? (Or elsewhere)

Edit: Also, is STL pizza a thing?

Any suggestions for fun couples activities? We are foodies and like cocktails. As for activities, we like anything from sports to hiking to concerts to museums and zoos; pretty easy to please! Any suggestions are appreciated! Or anything to stay away from, or is a waste of time, equally appreciated.

I appreciate anyone who takes the time to respond! We have come to Reddit for recommendations and we have found some really cute hole in the wall places before so thank you for taking the time to help out!
