I've just started learning AI and ML and this part always gets me all confused. How does an AI system analyze data? I need someone to dumb it down for me please.
Also, where is all this data stored, how is it accessed?

So, any AI application is as good as the data it has been fed. Where is all this data stored? How is it accessed? I don't come from CS so I need help guys.
I would really appreciate a fundamental clarification on how an AI application works.

Every system has an objective and well-chalked out path. As long as the objective is fixed, the movements are mechanical, no matter how realistic the humanoid looks, will we ever buy into it?
Without controlled randomness in the system, it will always make us uncomfortable.

I have decided to log my ML and AI learning journey here. There are a number of places I have explored and a number of ways I have tried to understand and explore AI. I think I have the right combination now.
Elements of AI - University of Helsinki (sorts out the basic maths and logic behind AI without much of an issue.
Open Classrooms - Introduction to AI (Applications - I need an idea for a project). I don't know enough to even know if a project is doable.
I will need all the help I can get guys. I'd really appreciate any insight or comment on my journey.
I DON'T CODE AT ALL but I do have a grasp of some basic python.
