Do guys actually notice upper lip hair up close on dates?

Do guys actually notice upper lip hair up close on dates?

Kinda embarrassed to post this, but it’s been bothering me lately 😭

I’ve always been a pretty hairy girl in general. For body hair I usually just shave because it’s quick and easy, so that never really bothered me too much. But facial hair is something I never paid much attention to before since I figured people probably can’t see it at a normal distance anyway. But recently I started seeing this guy, and now I suddenly notice every little thing about my face…

Especially my upper lip. I realized the hair there is darker than most girls', and when the lighting is bright or someone’s really close to me, I feel like it becomes way more noticeable.

Now every time we’re talking face to face on dates, I get super self-conscious about it.

I’ve tried shaving it a little when I do my brows, but people online always say shaving makes it grow back thicker, so I’m scared to keep doing it long term. I also tried Nair facial hair remover and honestly the results were pretty good, but my skin reacts badly every time. My upper lip gets red, and sometimes I wake up with tiny pimples the next day. I already try leaving it on for less time, but it still irritates my skin.

Thank you for taking the time to read my bullshit; I really need help. How do you all deal with upper lip hair?

Curious if anyone here uses Getpin as part of prospecting or lead qualification. or any other similar tools
we started testing it recently before cold email campaigns, mostly just to quickly check things like whether profiles look active. and whether owners reply to clients and maintain presence. For this it’s been pretty useful as we have started to notice correlation between the online presence and the responsibility of the business owners. The stronger ones respond faster and they have more booked calls and organized structure.
Not saying reviews magically predict close rates but there’s some connection between business managing and putting effort in their public presence and how responsive they are. Kind of curious if anyone else here checks this stuff before outreach or uses the same tools as us? What’s your takeaway?

A few years ago most tools in this space felt very single purpose: one tool for reviews, one for listings, posting, analytics, one for customer support…. but for SMBs especially having 5 different dashboards usually just creates more mess
We’ve been testing those modern platforms (Getpin is one of them) that combine all in one and i really get why this positioning works well in local marketing. Those single purpose tools had all the same features perhaps. But the pain point is fragmentation, businesses don’t usually want to think about where to log in and which location needs updating. They want everything to be in one place and to see immediately where the problem may be and this is understandable
Makes me think future winners in local SaaS will be tools that reduce the amount of operations and not the ones with some advanced features. Thoughts??

Doing our Q1 compliance review. B2B SaaS with about 60% US traffic and a significant California user base. Stack is GA4, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, Intercom, HubSpot forms, Segment as our CDP, plus a session replay tool we added in Q4. We have a cookie banner that has been in place for two years but I am genuinely not confident it is actually blocking anything actually im pretty positive it does nothing at all. How are people thinking about this in 2026-2027 times? What is the framework for a stack this complex and what is the right priority order?

FTM here (pregnant with twins), and now 18 weeks. I’ve been trying to be careful throughout my pregnancy, but lately my body has been feeling heavier and more tense. My feet are often swollen, and some of my usual shoes don’t fit anymore. It’s hard to fully relax. Some nights I have trouble sleeping because I need to use the bathroom so often.

I actually already have a Birthease birthing ball, but I haven’t really used it much. Recently I started watching some prenatal workout videos on TikTok, and I’ve seen people use birthing balls for support in certain movements. But personally, I'm unsure how effective it would be at this stage.

Also, for those who’ve used a birthing ball, can it help with that heavy, tense feeling or even improve sleep? When did you start using it regularly?

Hopefully, I can find the answer in here.🙏

Hi, I’ve been reading some older posts on here and the opinions seem mixed for using YouTube promotion services. However it seems like the channels that were purely music videos had better results, is that accurate or not necessarily. Thanks ahead of time~

I’ve been working around construction and repair projects for a while, and one thing I keep running into is how inconsistent power tools have become. Some last long, some barely survive a few weeks under real load.

A lot of the issue seems to be that the market is flooded with low-quality or rebranded tools, and unless you’ve actually used them on site, it’s hard to know what’s reliable and what’s not.

Recently, I came across Yuri Smart Engineering while looking into alternatives in this space. What stood out to me wasn’t just the product range, but the positioning around durability + affordability for industrial and infrastructure work. They seem to focus more on practical use cases like cutting, drilling, abrasives, and site-level work rather than just marketing specs.

Not saying it solves the bigger problem in the market, but it was interesting seeing a brand trying to target contractors and everyday users instead of just pushing premium pricing.

Curious what others here rely on for consistent tool quality. Do you stick to known international brands, or have you found reliable local alternatives that actually hold up on job sites?

If you do not have time to write huge entries every night here is my breakdown of a few popular platforms I have tried.

Day One: Great privacy and clean design but it feels more like writing into a black hole than actually processing emotions. It is nice for storing memories but hard to actually spot any patterns in your thinking.

Rosebud: Has some good AI prompts but sometimes it gets a bit too heavy with the questions and requires a bigger time commitment to get through a single entry.

Copymind: This is also good. The reflection formats are very quick and it uses a mind twin to track your mental patterns over time. You can even use the Validation Mirror to vent and get your own thoughts reflected back to you if you just need to clear your head
