DAE narc parent expect them to do all the housework?
Does anyone else’s narc parent absolutely refuse to do housework and try to guilt trip and manipulate them into doing all the housework?
My narc father refuses to do laundry, refuses to wash dishes, and refuses to keep up with basic housekeeping. He has tried on multiple occasions to tell me that it’s my “job” to do it while I’m working and going to school. He even tried to stupidly compare it to living with a roommate. He throws tantrums every time I set boundaries and refuse to wash his clothes, tell him to wash the dishes he dumped into the sink, and refuse to pick up after him.
He also expects constant praise for the few times he does anything too.
