I’m choosing between the Roborock Qrevo Edge 2 and the Dreame X50 Ultra. They are priced within $60 of each other and have nearly identical specs. My home is flat, so I do not need Dreame’s 60mm threshold climbing feature.
1. Stability & Software: Is Roborock’s app and navigation truly more "bulletproof" than Dreame's? I've heard Dreame still has occasional firmware bugs.
2. Cleaning logic: Which one handles edges and furniture more gracefully without "getting lost"?
3. Maintenance Costs: Which brand has more affordable and accessible spare parts (filters, brushes, mop pads)?
4. Build Quality: Over 2-3 years, which one is less likely to develop mechanical issues or squeaky motors?
If we ignore the climbing feature, is the Qrevo Edge 2 a better "set and forget" choice?
