I have an HP Victus, it had 8gb of RAM, but I took it to Best Buy and had them remove the old ram stick and insert 16gb of RAM. I got my laptop back today and when I open chrome it was running really slow. After going into my task manager I see I’m using high amounts of RAM, more than I even had before for simple tasks. It seems like I had 20+ tabs of chrome open even though I don’t, and whenever I try to close something via the task manager, it reappears. Restarting did not work.

I work at chipotle, and referee soccer while being in college. I put my entire paycheck into Robinhood
