I'm only a couple weeks into a stage 2 rectocele diagnosis and I feel like I'm dying. By the end of the day I'm in so much pain. I can't pass gas or poop without splitting now and I'm even struggling to get things out by trying to splint.

I'm so miserable that I just want to lay down and cry all the time and I have a 3 year old and 8 month old I need to care for.

Sex is either painful or completely numb.

I feel like I'm failing my family, especially my husband.

My Obgyn sent in a referral for PFPT almost 2 weeks ago and I still haven't heard anything. I'm considering whether I should start the process for surgery.

I'm 36 years old and had 2 children vaginally. We are done having kids.

Any recommendations? Advice?
