hi good people.
this is for mostly people from Germany, however i am open to any suggestions.
for budget reasons i've been using a temu yarn for personal projects that was working very well for me, however i have a small business now and legally i require a yarn that has the DIN 71-3 and also the OEKO TEX 100 qualifications. moreover, i am not ordering from temu anymore.
now, i've been on the lookout now for quite some time, however i was not able to really find anything that would be similar or the exact same (maybe some of the TEDi yarn. however it is always a question if they have it in stock or even if it will be dis/continued and i also don't want to take the budget-y yarn away from people or kids who cannot afford yarn from somewhere else. same with Allison&Mae from Action.).
the yarn is chenille, suggested needlesize is 3.5-5.5 (i've been using it with 2.5 or 3 for a better structure), +-50g/+- 80m or 98 yard. the brand name is smb. i'll attach a quick screenshot from temu.
i have to add that i tried emailing them to see if they have the required qualifications, however i haven't heard back from them yet.
in my opinion the closest yarn might be the toucan fine from hobbi - however due to recent events i would rather take my business elsewhere. and ricorumi is quite similar when i use two strands. however, to use it two stranded, it might be a bit too pricey or the projects would eat the skeins up quite fast.
i am incredibly thankful for every idea and suggestion.
